We were honoured to present our puppetry show inspired by Shabri, The Nine Jewels of Devotion, at the Goetheanum during the 100 Years Early Childhood Conference - a proud and meaningful moment, as the first group from India invited to share this art form on such a platform, made even more special through the creative partnership and shared spirit of Pooja and guidance of Latha teacher.

Heartfelt gratitude to Sadhana for making this possible.

What began as a simple idea blossomed into a beautiful journey. Between busy school schedules, we found days to meet, imagine, and create - choosing fabrics, designing characters, shaping each puppet with love, and weaving the story together piece by piece.

An enriching and unforgettable experience we will always cherish. ✨

🌸 Why We Play Holi with Natural Colours

Holi marks the gentle shift from winter to summer, when the air warms and our bodies begin to adjust to the changing season.

Traditionally, colours were made from flowers, seeds, and herbs such as rose petals, marigolds, turmeric, and neem. These were naturally cooling, soothing, and kind to the skin. Seasonal fruits like watermelon also appear at this time to hydrate and balance body heat.

Holi was never only about celebration; it was also a thoughtful way to support the body through seasonal change.

A day before the festival, the children learned to prepare traditional Gujiya, experiencing how festive foods, too, are part of this seasonal wisdom.

Holi reminds us that nature provides what we need in every season: colours to celebrate, flowers to cool, and nourishment to sustain us.

A few weeks ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming Sudha Rama Nyapati from Hyderabad to Tulasi for an enriching parent session on “Nutrition.”

Rooted in Steiner’s anthroposophic approach, the talk explored how nutrition supports children’s physical well-being, emotional security, and inner balance. Parents reflected on the importance of warmth, rhythm, and conscious food choices in daily home life.

We’re grateful to Sudha ma’am — trained in Anthroposophic Nutrition at the Medical Section of the Goetheanum and Founder Director of Delphis – Centre for Complementary Medicine & Therapies — for sharing her wisdom with our community. 🤍
